Routing a Proposed Change for Approval

Proposed Change Approval is optional in the system. If Proposed Change Approval is set to required in the Change Order Policy, then it must be performed.

  1. From the Change Order record, in the change order tree on the left side of the record, expand the Proposed Changes link and click the Approval Routing link.
    Result: The Approval Routing window is displayed.

NOTE: From this location, a user can also edit the list of approvers. Right click and select Add to add approvers or check the checkbox of an approver, right click and select Edit to edit an existing approver.

  1. Click the Start button.
    Result: The proposed change has been routed for approval.
